Basic Combination Problem 1: Sock Pairs

If you have three pairs of socks, two pairs of pants, and four shirts, how many outfits can you wear?

Lets see how many can you answer this small one.


  1. 3*2*4=24 correct.
    But has anyone said that each time you have to wear a matching pair of socks?
    so, other answer also possible....

  2. It should be 48 as it is mentioned that we have two pairs of pants i.e 4 pants .

    So 4*4*3=48.
